Symptom
Note 1903167 implemented enhancements in the allocation process for BPC-NW and added support for a new keyword in script logic: DIM_NONAGGR. The keyword is a functional replacement for the FOR/LOOP statements in the calculations. The expected calculations for parsing multiple members are exemplified below as per note 1903176.
*RUNALLOCATION
*FACTOR=USING
*DIM_NONAGGR Account WHAT=Taxes, Sales; WHERE=Taxes, Sales; USING=Growth
*DIM Category WHAT=BUDGET; WHERE=LE1; USING=LE1
*DIM Entity WHAT=CSO; WHERE=BAS(SAmerica); USING=<<<
*ENDALLOCATION
Expected calculation behavior would be:
- Taxes = Taxes*Growth
- Sales = Sales*Growth
Some users experience an incorrect behavior in the calculation, where the results in the allocation are similar to:
- Taxes = ((Taxes + Sales) * (Taxes + Sales))*Growth
