1991221 - The Updated Requested Date on the General tab Does Not Update to Item Level in a Sales Order

You expect that the Request Date on item level should be updated if there is any change on General tab. But when you changing the Requested Date on General tab, the change does not update the Requested Date on item level.

1. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
2. Go to the Sales Orders view.
3. Open one sales order, you update the Requested Date on General tab.
4. Go to the Items tab, selected one row, you find the Requested Date on item level is different from the general level.

When creating a sales order, the Requested Date on General tab will be copied to the item lines. When you changing the Requested Date on General tab,

• If the line Requested Date is not changed before, the date will be updated according to the date on General tab.
• If the line Requested Date once changed, then it will not be updated.
• If the customer demand is released to the line, the requested date cannot be updated any more.
