1992884 - Upgrade to Data Services 4.2 SP01 fails in expired keycode error

Symptom

  • Upgrade Data Services (DS) to 4.2 SP01 on Unix/Linux.
  • The existing DS has a permanent keycode. But an upgrade installation to 4.2 SP01 fails in the following error:
    Failed: Check existing Data Services keycode (Critical)
    Information: Detected expired Data Services keycode in the system. Obtain a valid keycode, use Data Services License Manager to update your keycode.
