1994555 - IDT failover is currently not supported when connecting via SAML SSO

Symptom

  • When trying to following configurations options in KBA 1990413 SSO no longer works
  • When configuring SAML with only 1 HANA server (master) SSO works fine
  • Important to note that if SAML SSO fails with 1 connection that the configuration is not working at all see KBA 1900023
  • various generic errors can be seen if the configuration is attempted such as "com.sap.db.jdbc.exceptions.jdbc40.SQLInvalidAuthorizationSpecException: [10]: authentication failed"
