1995275 - Cannot browse Teradata metadata via connections - Information Steward - Data Insight

Symptom

  • AL_ENGINE process using a lot of CPU
  • When trying to browse a Teradata connection the following error is seen:

Unable to access the web server. (CUI-10001)

  • Expanding a Teradata DB from Add Tables > View > External Metadata causes Bad Connection error if the previous attempt to access a Teradata DB failed due to lack of permission.
