Symptom

Is it possible to assign a company to a company Group via Import?

Environment

SAP Intercompany  (IC) 7.5.

Resolution

It is possible to associate a company to a company group via import as following:

  1. Import company Groups
  2. Create a company template containing the field "Company Division"
  3. Create the Company import file
  4. Perform the Import of companies
