1996685 - ORA-1722 Invalid Number writing to SCENARIO table

Symptom

  • Your EIS loadset fails to complete optimization (scenario name stays as "Base Scenario Not Upgraded")
  • The Scenario Status on the Analyze -> Manage Scenario screen shows "Optimization Started" but does not show "Optimization Completed" or "Optimization Successful" messages
  • The application server log contains the following messages:
    • SQLException caught while writing scenario metadata to SCENARIO table
    • failed changing state of scenario
    • Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01722: invalid number
