1997050 - Opening model via EPM Add-in generates error "Can't find or read cache file for dimension XXX"

Symptom

After transporting an environment from one system to another, opening one or more models in the EPM Add-in results in the error "Can't find or read cached file for dimension XXXX" where XXXX is a valid dimension in the model. An examination of the dimension and it's members does not show any error.
