1997339 - EPM Add-in: BPC Protected reports do not allow users to perform specific actions

• When protecting an active worksheet in the EPM - Sheet options Protection tab, users are not able to perform specific actions, even if all items are selected:

• The actions are:
• Use Excel formula (such as add, multiply, subtract, etc.) in any cell outside the report area
• Create auto filters
• Create Pivot Table
• Write comments
• Error message issued:

The cell or chart that you are trying to change is protected and therefore read-only.

To modify a protected cell or chart, first remove protection using the Unprotect Sheet command (Review tab, Changes group). You may be prompted for a password.
