1998094 - Multiple Productive Clients - SCC4

Symptom

  1. A production client already exists in the system (SCC4), but you want to create another.
  2. You will get a a warning message that says "A production client already exists in the system" - TB121.

Diagnosis
You specified client <client number> as production client. However, production client <client number> already exists in the system. There are rules and limits for multiple-client operation.

System Response
The input is accepted.

Procedure
Operation with several clients in one system is described in Note 31557 "The multi-client concept of R/3". Please request this Note if you want to find out more about the rules to be followed for the proper operation of a multiple-client system.
