Symptom

  • When running the copy opening logic to trigger the carry forward rules, the package log returns an error running in stored procedure :
    Executing stored procedure SPCOPYOPENING [Finance],[ACTUAL],[LC],[SPSCOPE_2014328855847],[SPLOG_2014328855847],[3]
    Error running stored procedure SPCOPYOPENING [Finance],[ACTUAL],[LC],[SPSCOPE_2014328855847],[SPLOG_2014328855847],[3]:
  • There is no data posted
  • When tracing from SQL Server profiler, an error raised in the log :
    DetailMsg  : {Error running stored procedure SPCOPYOPENING [FINANCE],[ACTUAL],[LC],[SPSCOPE_2014411043751],[SPLOG_2014411043749],[3]: Conversion failed when converting the nvarchar value ''2012.DEC'' to data type int.
