2001484 - Error 2805 and 2806 reported on complied object in database - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • One or more corrupt objects in an ASE database can cause spurious errors:

Error 2805: "Bad pointer <hex value> encountered while remapping stored procedure '<procedure name>'. Must re-create procedure."
Error 2806: "Stored procedure '<procedure name>' is corrupted. Must re-create procedure."

  • These can be seen together with signal 10 or 11 and a stacktrace including the function s_getTreeOrPlan
