Symptom

This KBA will help you through the steps required in order to transfer a FIM custom job from one SOURCE system to another TARGET system. The overviews of the steps required are:

  1. Export the SOURCE repository using the SOURCE Data Services Designer
  2. Export the SOURCE FIM custom job using the SOURCE FIM client
  3. Import the SOURCE repository using the TARGET Data Services Designer
  4. Import the SOURCE FIM custom job using the TARGET FIM client
  5. Check that the FIM custom job transferred to the TARGET system looks/works OK.
