As of service pack 2 on SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence platform 4.1, you can now use Web Intelligence (Webi) Extension Points to customize your user interface, or to add a custom formula. While the ability to have a custom formula has been around for a couple patches, the ability to add custom buttons is a new feature in Support Pack 2.
