2001960 - Difference of Characteristic Values in Variant Configuration Models: Displayed Values vs. Saved Values

The displayed values of characteristics in a variant configuration model are different from the characteristic values that are saved in the database. For example:

1. You display the characteristic values of a configurable material in a sales order (transaction VA02/VA03). These values are different from the values in the table IBSYMBOL (transaction CUTABLEINFO), which contains the saved values.
2. You display the characteristic values of a material variant in the material master (transaction MM02/MM03). These values are different from the values in the table IBSYMBOL.
