2002656 - FIM job fails to perform the GetDimensionsList action

Symptom

  • When creating a new FIM job using a BPC NW model, it fails at the last step with the error:
    "com.sap.fpm.fim.common.webservice.WSException: Failed while calling the 'Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC)' system to perform the 'GetDimensionsList' action.
    org.apache.cxf.binding.soap.SoapFault: Erreur lors du traitement du service Web; D'autres détails dans le journal des erreurs du serv.Web côté fournisseur (Horodatage UTC 20140117090308 ; ID de transaction 2E567FE30C40F1A18477005056B73E0B)"
  • The following error can be found in SRT_UTIL transaction in the backend:
    CX_SY_CONVERSION_OVERFLOW
    Overflow converting from 'XXXXX'
    program: CL_UJO_FIM_ADAPTER============CP
