2003229 - SPM 3.0: Data Management not working; HTTP error "Virtual Interface not found"

Symptom

Data Management is not working.

As soon as a user goes to Data Management, the clock timer appears and there is no further progress.

HTTPWatch captures http 500 error for the opm* service when user tries to use Data Management.

HTTPWatch shows the 500 error message: "Virtual Interface not found" while calling http://host:port/sap/bc/srt/rfc/sap/opm_dm_x_api/100/opm_dm_x_api/opm_dm_x_api

No entry for opm_dm_x_api in VEPGENCLASS.
