Symptom

  • The ASE errorlog was filling with the following messages:

   00:0018:00000:00367:2014/02/18 10:59:26.87 kernel  SSL or Crypto Error Message: 'csi_cipher_crypto'.
   00:0018:00000:00367:2014/02/18 10:59:26.87 kernel  SSL or Crypto Error Message: 'csi_cipher_crypto'.

  • A  situation where it became a repeating message occurred during a database encryption of a 1.7 TB database.
