2003652 - Week day names in SAPGUI calendar are garbled

Symptom

  • After upgrading the SAP system, the weekday names in the SAP GUI calendar control are truncated or garbled when using the system in Japanese.
  • This issue did not occur before the upgrade.
  • The issue is specific to the Japanese language. English display is normal.
  • In some views, Japanese characters show as “<?>”.
