2003743 - Report Project Cost and Revenue by Project Does Not Show Employee Information of Expense Report Related to Project

You run report Report Project Cost and Revenue by Project to check the employee information of the expense reports with cost assignment to project XYZ.

But you find the field Employee shows as Not Assigned for all expense reports in the report.

The report Project Cost and Revenue by Project is located in work center Project Management.

Employee information is not displayed because this is not captured in accounting at all for Expense Reports.

If you look at the journal entry created for this expense report, you can see that employee information is not displayed in that as well. In fact, currently, employee information is not sent from Expense Management to Accounting at all.

You can go to the Travel and Expense work center,  run report Expense Reports by Cost Object and select view as By Project. It should show the employee name. You can also run report Projects - Line Items from the Project Management work center for the employee information.
