2004170 - DTE reporting job failure - UNIQUE KEY constraint due to duplicate values causing DTE process to terminate

Symptom

  • You have scheduled DTE (Data Transformation Execution) to collect data for reporting; however, the DTE process is failing with the similar error (variables in bold will be different than what you may see in your logs):
    • ERR> Appl=CEM REPORTING Err=System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): Violation of UNIQUE KEY constraint 'UQ__#05D6BAF__98C5D66707BF0370'.
      • Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.@FactQueueAgentMatrix'.
      • The duplicate key value is (7b7f33ae-c3c7-4c80-92a5-a73a5af96ed1, 94552ae6-0107-4fea-bb33-4f107be1cbd9, Apr  7 2014  7:24AM).
    • EXC>  System.Exception: Error occurred during data collection for interval 2014-04-07 07:00:00 ,2014-04-08 00:00:00. The statement has been terminated.
