2004915 - Report based on Data Source Allocated Expenses is not retrieving all Expense Reports

You have built a report or you are using a standard report based on Data Source Allocated Expenses and you cannot see all Expense Reports status.

1. Go to Business Analytics work center.
2. Go to Design Reports view.
3. Search for your customized report or Expense Reports by Cost Object.
4. Open it.
5. Run the report.

You will notice that the report does not return all Expense Reports available, even though you have selected to run the report without selections.

The reason behind this behavior is because there is a complex restriction that is added to the characteristic Status once you use any Key Figure from the Key Figure Structure Amounts restricted on the allocation. You may refer to screenshots present at attachments.

In order to resolve this behavior and to see all Expense Reports in this report, you need to build a report on top of this Data Source in case you are using a standard one, or edit your current one.

For example: we have built report X on top of Allocated Expenses.

1. Go to Business Analytics work center.
2. Go to Design Reports view.
3. Search for X and click on Edit With -> Report Wizard button.
4. On the new screen, un-check the box for Amounts restricted on the allocation.
5. Click on Finish.

This will remove the Key Figures from this Key Figure Structure as well as the Complex Restriction created on the Status characteristic.
