2005775 - Error VPD012 Partner function &1 can only occur 1 times in procedure TA (Sales Document Header)

Symptom

You try to add multiple partners of the same partner function in a sales document (e.g. a sales order) and get error message VPD012 Partner function &1 can only occur &4 times in procedure &2 (&3).
Only one contact person, ship-to, payer etc. can be maintained under the partner tab.
