2010629 - EXPLAIN results in error "Creation of tree hash failed" - SAP ASE for BS

Symptom

  • Use DBACOCKPIT -> Processes tab to check the details on a given process running on the system and try to retrieve the plan for the running process via Process Details -> SQL Statement -> EXPLAIN
    or
    Use ST05 and from Summarized SQL statements, click on the "Explain" button.
     
  • EXPLAIN invocation results in error "Creation of tree hash failed" :
