2010653 - Configure dswsbobje for AJP connections ("Failed to access WSDL" in Web Service Publisher within WebI) - How-To

Symptom

  • While accessing the Web Service Publisher within Web Intelligence Applet (Rich Internet Application), an error occur:
Unexpected error: Failed to access the WSDL at https://serverName/dswsbobje/services/Session?wsdl. It failed with: Server returned HTTP response code: 500 for URL https://serverName/dswsbobje/services/Session?wsdl.
  • Accessing the URL directly through a web browser, an "Internal server error" can be seen
  • When accessing Live Office (LO) via Load Balancer or Apache dswsbobje URL, the below error is seen:
    The content type text/html; charset=iso-8859-1 of the response message does not match the content type of binding (text/html; charset=utf-8).
