Symptom

  • User session terminates unexpectedly.
  • ASE errorlog contains an infected with signal 11 error in tdsrecv__process_batchparam.
  • Stack trace contains the following functions (offsets will vary by platform):

tdsrecv__process_batchparam+0x864()
tdsrecv__dynexec_batch+0xea()
tdsrecv__dynexec+0x132()
tdsrecv_dynamic+0x372()
