2011728 - Error 225 when using SET ANSINULL ON|OFF - ASE

Symptom

A batch of SQL which includes the command SET ANSINULL ON|OFF and changes this setting from its current state returns an error 225:

Msg 225, Level 16, State 1:
Server '<server name>', Line 2:
Cannot run query--referenced object (name NAME NOT RECOVERABLE) dropped during query optimization.
