2011885 - PDF character metrics differ from spool character metrics

Symptom

You have decided to convert spool requests into PDF files.

The spool requests look fine and the PDF arrangement is also fine, but the spaces between the characters are different from the spool request: either the space (character positioning) is too large or too small between characters.

This happens especially to the letters 'W' and 'w'.
