2012055 - Wrong Address is Displaying for a Specific Contact

Symptom

You have observed that the same Contact is displaying different address in Contacts and Responsibilities tab of that Account.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Account Management work center.
  2. Select Contacts view.
  3. Search and Edit the Contact.

Here the correct Address is displaying.

  1. Go to Account Management work center.
  2. Select Contacts view.
  3. Search and Edit the Contact.
  4. Go to Relationships tab.
  5. Go to Responsibilities tab.

Here, the wrong address is displaying.

Resolution

  1. Go to Account Management work center.
  2. Select Contacts view.
  3. Search and Edit the Contact.

This Address is maintained for the actual Contact.

  1. Go to Account Management work center.
  2. Select Contacts view.
  3. Search and Edit the Contact.
  4. Go to Relationships tab.
  5. Go to Responsibilities tab.

This Address is picked from the Employee Workplace address. Because the Party Role is assigned to the Employee Role of Employee who has the role Contact.

This can be verified as follows,

1. Go to Personnel Administration work center.
2. Regular Tasks view.
3. Select Change Workplace Contact Data.
4. Input the Employee.

Here the address is same as above.,

This is expected system behavior.
