2012202 - rs_init aborts when adding a database

Symptom

  • SAP Replication Server (SRS)
  • Using rs_init in interactive mode to add a database to the replication system, rs_init will abort.
  • This happens on Windows 7 or Windows 2008 R2.
  • Windows Event log reports the following error.
