2014034 - Character '&' or consecutive comas ',,' in a long text shows as '<(>&<)>'

Symptom

  • For a long text which has a text which contains the ampersand character '&' or consecutive comas ',,'. it is found that when reading this long text via function module READ_TEXT and displaying the returned text, the ampersand character is shown as '<(>&<)>'rather than as '&'.
