2014404 - Error message Account determination group missing for supplier ABC and company XYZ

You are trying to proceed with the Migration of the Open Items Payable. 

The following error shows:

Error message Account determination group missing for supplier ABC and company XYZ.

1. Go to Business Configuration work center;
2. Go to Implementation Projects view;
3. Click Open Activity List button;
4. Go to Integrate and Extend phase;
5. Search for Migration of Accounting Transaction Data;
6. Click Open button;
7. Click Migrate accounting transaction data using the migration tool option;
8. Select desired Migration Unit;
9. Click Execute Migration button;
10. Select Open Items Payable line;
11. Click Process File button.

Check error message: Error message Account determination group missing for supplier ABC and company XYZ.

The reason for the issue is that the migration activity was not done in sequential order. Usually the trade receivables/payables (TRP) accounts for Business Partner of type Employee are automatically created during the first expense settlement using the default Account Determination. You have to migrate the account determination group of employees so that employee master data is complete.

In order for you to be able to resolve this issue, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to Business Configuration work center;
2. Go to Implementation Projects view;
3. Click Open Activity List button;
4. Search for Migration of Suppliers activity;
5. Click Change Immediately button;
6. Click Migrate account determination groups payables using the migration tool option.

There you can migrate the Account Determination Group for those mentioned business partners. You have to do this for all business partners (employees) added to the Excel migration file.

Then the employee master data will get an account determination group and you will be able to migrate Open Payables items to these employees.
