2014467 - Server hang after internal error at s_bm:1376 "Bitmap result bitcount not in legal range" - SAP IQ

Symptom

Loading a table in SAP IQ returns an internal error at s_bm.cxx:1376.   The server may become unresponsive or hang after this error is returned.

The stack trace header includes the following error:

Non-Fatal IQ Internal Error Detected at s_bm.cxx:1376  on thread 416 (TID 407)
Bitmap result bitcount not in legal range.
Bitmap failed internal checks. You may have a damaged index
