Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open a report in Crystal Reports, or Crystal Reports for Enterprise.
  2. Export the report to PDF format.

  • Crystal Reports, and Crystal Reports for Enterprise, export to the following version of PDF format:
       
    • Crystal Reports 2008:
      • Original build:  PDF version 1.5
      • Service Pack 01 and above:  PDF version 1.7
               
    • Crystal Reports 2011, 2013, 2016, 2020:
      • PDF version 1.7
                    
    • Crystal Reports for Enterprise 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3:
      • PDF version 1.7
