When using ONLY Product Categories that are replicated from the ECC system and you are creating a new document, the picker window that pops up defaults to a search that is searching for the "local" product Categories. These Local Product Categories are coming from Sourcing and not the replicated Business System (ECC) and therefore will show blank or null results.
