2016813 - Account Determination Group and Cost Information Missing in Materials Migration Template

Symptom

The information pertaining to Account Determination Group and Material Costs is not available for migration in the template for Materials.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
  2. Go to Overview view.
  3. Find and Open the activity Migration of Materials.
  4. Select the You Can Also button and Download Migration Template.

Cause

As per the design of the Business ByDesign system, the accounting view of the the Materials is expected to be migrated as a follow-up through the activity 'Migration of Material Valuation Data' in business configuration.

Resolution

You may use the Migration of Material Valuation Data as a follow up after the Migration of Materials.

The steps would be as follows:

  1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
  2. Go to Overview view.
  3. Find and Open the activity Migration of Material Valuation Data.
  4. Select the You Can Also button and Download Migration Template.
