2016862 - FI-AA: BAPI / Function Module does not work: unexpected or incorrect posting

Symptom

  • BAPI 'BAPI_ACC_ASS_TRANSFER_POST' is used for an intracompany transfer for example, but inexplicable duplicate line items are shown in the FI document
  • Similar issues and unexpected system behaviour may be observed during posting using any other BAPI found in SE37
  • Duplicate / multiple line items show value 0.00
  • Other problems might occur and the display of the posted line items in the financial document are unexpected or unexplicable
  • Partial & Full Transfer, Retirement, Acquisition posting incorrect
  • Other errors may occur, i.e referring to value date, ABAP short dump etc.

Example of inexplicable duplicate line items:

Example of an Error:  "Posting Complete retirement not possible with value date ...."  may appear and is not justified
