2016865 - 'Posting date 00.00.0000 must not be before last retrmt date 99.99.9999 of fixed asset ABC' Error in Partial Transfer of Individual Material

You want to execute the Partial Transfer of Individual Material for asset ABC (ABC means the fixed asset ID). This asset has the Last Retirement Date set to 12.11.2022. However, you want to post the partial transfer on 01.10.2022.

System is showing the error messages:

• Posting date 00.00.0000 must not be before last retrmt date 12.11.2022 of fixed asset ABC.
• Journal entries for journal entry voucher cannot be simulated.

1. Go to Fixed Assets work center
2. Go to Fixed Assets view.
3. Go to Fixed Assets subview.
4. Search for asset ABC.
5. Click Manual Posting button and select Partial Transfer of Individual Material.
6. Fill in the necessary information.
7. Click Post button.
8. Errors are thrown:

• Posting date 00.00.0000 must not be before last retrmt date 12.11.2022 of fixed asset ABC.
• Journal entries for journal entry voucher cannot be simulated.

No postings are permitted before the asset's Last Retirement Date.

The Last Retirement Date shows the date on which the last retirement posting occurred for this fixed asset, either partially or completely, due to a sale, a scrapping or a complete transfer, and can be checked in Master Data tab --> Life Cycle Data subtab of the referred asset.

The transfer can only be posted after 12.11.2022.
