2017553 - SAP IQ will crash by the insert of duplicate data

Symptom

  • When you insert a duplicate data in a table with an B-tree based index(HG,WD,TEXT), SAP IQ server crashes rarely.
  • [demo]$ dbisql -c 'uid=dba;pwd=sql' -host hostname -port 2638 -nogui repro.sql
    Error! The connection to the database was closed by the server.
      Connection was terminated
      SQLCODE=-308, ODBC 3 State="HY000"
      File: "repro.sql" on line 1, column 1
      INSERT REPRO_TABLE (col1, col2) VALUES (99, 'tantai,kakunin,1')
      You can continue executing or stop.
