2018699 - Org Unit Missing During Hiring or Transferring of an Employee

Symptom

When you Hire or Transfer an Employee, the expected Org Unit is missing in the value selection for Organizational Unit.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Personnel Administration work center.
  2. Select Regular Tasks view.
  3. Select Hiring or Transfer Employee
  4. Select the value selection of Organizational Unit.

Cause

The cause for the issue might be that the Org Unit‘s validity is in the future. EX: You are performing the hiring on 22.7.2014 but the validity of the Org Unit starts at 01.08.2014.

Resolution

To overcome the issue, either extend the validity of the Org Unit to the current date or perform the hiring on/after the valid date of the Org Unit.
