Symptom
When you try to log into the EPM Add-In, you receive a lock up / hang / (icon spins) at the "Loading environments and models..." logon screen:
After you close (Kill / End Task) Excel using Windows Task Manager, you get the message:
"Excel experienced a serious problem with the 'EPM Add-in for Microsoft Office' add-in. If you have seen this message multiple times, you should disable this add-in and check to see if an update is available. Do you want to disable this add-in?"
The following error may also appear in the EPM Add-in trace and log files:
The server did not provide a meaningful reply; this might be caused by a contract mismatch, a premature session shutdown or an internal server error.
