2024429 - CMS fails to re-install DFO or plug-in and reports the error "DFO has been deleted. Will not resurrect"

Symptom

  • The Central Management Server fails to install a DFO or plug-in that was copied to the BI Platform packages directory
  • The plug-in xml file was moved to the DFO folder as expected, however the plug-in the CMS repository still contains the original data/version and was not updated
  • When tracing the CMS startup, the CMS reports error "DFO has been deleted.  Will not resurrect"
