Symptom

  • In ASE 15.7 ESD#2, using the ALTER TABLE command to move a partition to the default segment returns error 156. 


      ALTER TABLE <table_name> move PARTITION <partition_name> to default
      go
      
      Msg 156, Level 15, State 2:
      Server 'ase157', Line 1:
      Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'default'.
