2025072 - SCC Display statistics may return a blank screen or an error message "Operation not applicable to version before 2.5" - SAP ASE

The error will occur when using the SCC  'display statistics' feature to generate optdiag statistics and the ASE server version is 15.0.2.   The display statistics will fail and may return a blank screen to the SCC user interface or may return  the error  "Operation not applicable to version before 2.5.  It  may also  log the following error and stacktrace in the agent.log:
