2029479 - Starting multiple instances of Interactive SQL may fail - SAP IQ

Symptom

  • Concurrent starting of Interactive SQL (DBISQL) on a machine may fail due to lack of number of processes.
  • When many DBISQL processes start under low maxproc OS setting, you may get the below error:

Error! This program has encountered an internal error.
Details have been logged to $HOME/.sqlanywhere16/diagnostics/isqlError.err.xml
Exception is unable to create new native thread
