2030021 - Error 14: Case Study: SSL Invalid Chain - SSLStreamSocket::checkSSLerror when using custom certificates in Agentry, SMP 2.3 or SMP 3.0

Symptom

  • The SAP Mobile Platform starts up but when the Agentry client (iPAD) transmits it gets the SSL Invalid Chain Communication Error (14)
  • The user/company uses a custom certificate to be used for "Server Authentication" SSL verification between the Agentry client and the Agentry Server
  • error: 2006F067: BIO routines:BIO_read:connect error, ..\Socket\openSSLsockets.cpp#997:OpenSSLStreamSocket::SSLStreamSocket::checkSSLerror
