2030473 - How to integrate the Eco participation in price calculation

This case document explains how to integrate the "ECO contribution" (recycling tax) to the calculation of item pricing in Sales document. This requirement is specific to French customers.

When creating a Sales order, you need to add in the price calculation,  a fix amount for each item added,  that corresponds to the recycling cost of each item.

This additional fee should be also visible on the invoice and corresponding reports.

You cannot find a specific price component for the "eco contribution".

No specific price component exist in the system by default for the Eco Contribution.

Create Surcharge based on product category and release the surcharge.  

1. Go to the Product and service portfolio work center.

2. Select the Pricing view --> Surcharges.

3. select Surcharge: Product Category.

4. fill the details and add a description as Eco contribution.

5. Save and Release.

Create a new customer specific price list for the required customer and add the products for which the Eco contribution has to be calculated.

1. Go to the Product and service portfolio work center.

2. Select the price list view.

3. new customer specific price list.

4. In the General tab, fill the account ID for your specific customer.

5. In the Items tab, click Add Row and add all products for which the tax has to be calculated.

6. Save and Release.

All the Sales orders and Invoices created with the account and products defined in the surcharge will have an additional cost line called Surcharge with the amount calculated based on the unit and the amount specified in the surcharge.

The printed invoice will also show the details of the new surcharge.
