2031067 - Getting messages: ERROR #20 and WARNING #24031 after upgrade - SRS

Symptom

Upgrading from Replication Server 15.6 to version 15.7.1, getting messages: ERROR #20 and WARNING #24031.
Replication Server error log contains messages:

E.. ERROR #20 SQT(232:1 DIST SYBASE_RSSD.RS_RSSD) - /packbin.c(1588) A bad switch value of 0 was encountered.
W.. WARNING #24031 SQT(232:1 DIST SYBASE_RSSD.RS_RSSD) - t/sqtint.c(6428) SQT could not parse next statement for DSI. (232:1) status=1
W.. WARNING #24031 SQT(232:1 DIST SYBASE_RSSD.RS_RSSD) - t/sqtint.c(6428) SQT could not parse next statement for DSI. (232:1) status=1
E.. ERROR #30023 DIST(232 SYBASE_RSSD.RS_RSSD) - xec/dist.c(6478) The unpacker failed to unpack or parse a command.
W.. WARNING #24031 SQT(232:1 DIST SYBASE_RSSD.RS_RSSD) - t/sqtint.c(6428) SQT could not parse next statement for DSI. (232:1) status=1
E.. ERROR #20 SQT(232:1 DIST SYBASE_RSSD.RS_RSSD) - /packbin.c(1588) A bad switch value of 0 was encountered.
I.. DIST for 'SYBASE_PDS.PDB' is waiting for SQM(s) to flush to outbound queue(s).
