2032919 - Time Entries Not Being Accounted

You are trying to manually enter leaves or enter actual working hours in the employee times, however the amount of days is not being reflected in the time account balance.

SAP Business by Design

1. Go to Time Administration work center.
2. Go to Employees view.
3. Find the concerned employee and click Edit.
4. On the screen that opens, select Employee Times tab. You have active time entries, e.g. Vacation Days.
5. Go to the tab Time Account Balances
6. In the Details Section, click tab Posting
7. Date is not listed here

or

1. Go to Time Administration
2. Click on Employee Time Record
3. Find the concerned employee and click Edit
4. Select Employee times: You have active time entries, e.g. Vacation Days or Actual Hours Worked 
5. Click on tab Time Account Balances
6. In the Details Section, click tab Posting 
7. Date is not listed here

The vacation days or the actual hours worked have not been reflected in the time account for vacation or for working time.

The mapping between the time type and the time account is not done.

In order to properly account the recorded days, you have to map the time type with the time account as per below steps.

1. Go to Business Configuration work center
2. Go to Overview view
3. Select Activities
4. Search for Time Types
5. Open the activity Time Types - <Country>
6. Click Maintain Employee Time Types
7. Select the concerned time type
8. Click on Add Row
9. Search for the code of time type
10. Click on Save
11. Maintain the relevant time account in the Time Account Posting tab.

After that, times recorded with the concerned time type will be reflected in the time account balance.
