2033650 - Time Entry Status Changes to Active Without Manager Approval

When an employee releases a time entry in their time sheet, status becomes Active even though configuration for that time type requires it to go for approval by the manager.

SAP Business ByDesign - all its versions.

1. Go to Home work center.
2. Select Self Services view.
3. Select Edit Time Sheet link.
4. The Timesheet shows Active status even though it should be going to the line manager for approval.

If there's no line manager assigned to the employee, then the time entry automatically becomes Active once released.

Additionally, a time entry will automatically become Active when created by a time administrator for the employee in the Time Administration workcenter, since systems interprets the time administrator has the authority to approve employee times as well.

This is the expected system behavior.
